A 5.1 magnitude earthquake hits central Turkey

Magnitude 5.1 quake shook Turkey’s central Konya province on Monday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake occurred at around 20:43 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 37.8625 degrees north and a longitude of 32.1228 degrees east, and at a depth of 10.61 km.

There are no immediate reports of serious damage or deaths.
