The earthquake occurred at around 13:16 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 39.8055 degrees north and a longitude of 22.2578 degrees east, and at a depth of 3.08 km.
There were no reports of damage or casualties.

An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 struck 118 km southwestern of Thessaloníki in Greece on Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
