A 6.2 magnitude earthquake hits off Indonesia's Sulawesi Island

The quake struck offshore at a depth of 10 kilometers, about 100 kilometers west of the town of Luwuk, the United States Geological Survey said on Monday.

No tsunami warning was issued and there were no immediate reports of damage after the quake, according to local sources.
