Diyarbakır Governor made a written statement about the explosion took place of the Central Bağlar district of the Riot Force Branch Directorate, said a civilian lost his life in the explosion.
In the statement explaining the reason of the explosion is not yet known, it is said, “An explosion of an unknown reason took place during the repair of the panzer vehicle on Tuesday, 11.04.2017 at 10.47, at the repair workshop belonging to the Maintenance-Repair Branch Office in the area where the additional units of the Provincial Security Directorate located in the ‘Bağlar central district’. AFAD [Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency] and 112 teams were sent to the scene immediately after the explosion.”
As a result of the explosion in the square, a civilian personnel was removed to the hospital where he lost his life, while the wounded patients’ treatment continue in the hospitals.
Judicial and administrative inquiries have been initiated and detailed explanations will be made later said in the explanation. (ILKHA)
