A total of 60 people killed in road accidents during Eid al Adha in Turkey

A total of 60 people people died in traffic accidents across Turkey during a five-day Eid al-Adha holiday, the country's Interior Ministry said.

The Interior Ministry released a statement on traffic accidents across Turkey, stating that accidents across the country decreased radically when compared with previous years.

A total of 44 car accidents involving death occurred in 29 provinces during Eid al-Adha and at least 60 people were killed in these accidents.

According to the officials reports, nearly 10,000 people die every year due to traffic accidents in the country.
