Afghan Peace Conference in Istanbul postpones after Eid al-Fitr

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has announced that Afghan Peace Conference in Istanbul had been postponed until the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

“We have consulted with Qatar, the US, and the UN. We have decided to postpone the Istanbul Conference on the Afghanistan peace process after Eid al-Fitr,” Çavuşoğlu said.

Afghan Peace Conference in Istanbul was scheduled to be held from April 24 until May 4 in Istanbul, Turkey’s economic, cultural and historic center.
