Agreement on “safe zone” propose in Syria

In the 4th round of Syrian peace talks held in Kazakhstan's capital Astana, the guarantor states Turkiye, Iran and Russia have agreed on “safe zone” form in Syria.

The guarantor countries participating in the Astana process for the form of ‘safe zones’ in Syria were announced by Turkiye, Iran and Russia.

In the 4th round of the Syrian peace talks in Astana, Russia presented a proposal for the establishment of ‘safe zones’ in Syria.

Kazakh Foreign Minister Kayrat Abdrahmanov said that the proposal was also accepted by Turkiye and Iran. (ILKHA)
