The US Army Central Command announced that the US Marine Corps Artilleries Unit have entered Syria to support operations against Raqqa, the city under the control of Daesh.
“This new union has a temporary support role in the joint operation territory,” the statement said. It is not known how long these new military units of America will be in Syria.
According to the information, these troops will be an alternative to approximately 400 troops who were sent from the Eleventh forces unit of the American Marines in Syria in March. (ILKHA)
