Ismail Özşanlı, President of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association [MUSIAD] Diyarbakır Branch was injured in an armed attack.
According to reports, the attack took place in the town of Central Kayapınar Media Neighborhood. MUSIAD Diyarbakir Branch President Özşanlı was subjected to an armed attack yet of an unknown reason by a person who claimed to be a relative.
6 bullet hit the abdomen in the attack Özşanlı was taken to Dicle University Medical Faculty Hospital. Özşanlı was taken in intensive care but learned that there was no life-threatening.
Police have begun work to arrest the attacker.
