Azerbaijan Army Units enters the Aghdam region

The Azerbaijan Army Units have entered the Aghdam region for the first time since 1993 when Armenian Army captured the region during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War.

“According to the trilateral Statement signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the prime minister of the Republic of Armenia, and the President of the Russian Federation, units of the Azerbaijan Army entered the Aghdam region on November 20,” Azerbaijan Defense Ministry said.
