Azeri businessman killed in Istanbul

Azerbaijani businessman Etimat Ismailov was shot to death by a person who argued with.

Star newspaper columnist Sevil Nuriyeva's husband Azerbaijani businessman Etimat Ismailov was shot and killed by a man who he had an argument with, in Istanbul.

The suspect Gözal D. came to Ismailov' office in Florya in Şenlikköy neighborhood and the two begin arguing for a reason has not learned yet. The argument later turned armed fight and while the suspect shot and killed Ismailov and escaped.

 Ismailov was rushed to a private hospital in Küçükçekmece by medical teams on the notice, died despite the interventions.

The police captured the former senior police director and a retired colonel from Azerbaijan, Gözal D., in a short period of time.

Ismailov, the husband of Star newspaper columnist Sevil Nuriyeva, was known for his significant investments in the defense industry.
