Boat sank in the Mediterranean: 100 refugees dies

Refugee boat sinked in the Mediterranean, and nearly 100 people lost their lives.

According to the first results of a sinking boat carrying refugees on Libyan openings, it was reported that close to 100 people lost their lives.

In the statement made by the Italian Coast Guard regarding the incident, it was stated that 8 of the refugees bodies were reached out of 107 people and 4 refugees were saved alive.

The boat was reported to have sunk between Libya and Italy, 50 kilometers off Libya. Refugee search and rescue work continues with the help of helicopter support, coast guard and commercial vessels in the region.
