The number of confirmed cases has reached 1,070,139, an increase of 31,571 cases in the last 24 hours.

While at least 8,318 patients are being treated in intensive care units, more than 543,186 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
According to the Health Ministry, the number of people cured of coronavirus is already 7.5% higher than the active cases in the country.
Sao Paulo, the country’s most-populated state, continues to be the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in Brazil. The state has so far reported more than 215,793 confirmed coronavirus cases, with at least 12,494 deaths.
