The accident took place in Merzifon district Kayadüzü locality. According to the information, the 52 DG 448 plated passenger bus belonging to a private company going from Istanbul to Samsun has overturned to the ditch next to the road for an undetermined reason.
A large number of ambulances and rescue teams have been referred to the region after the surrounding citizens called for help. According to the first findings in the accident, 6 people lost their lives, 36 people were injured.
The wounded were taken to Merzifon State Hospital and Amasya University Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Training and Research Hospital.
