The crash took place on Tuesday at 09.00 on Hayrabolu-Tekirdağ highway Ortaca neighborhood.
According to the information, Citizens who saw a car fell off the Ortaca bridge to the stream on the right side, called the police and ambulance.
The crane removed the car out of the creek and that is when the teams found 8 lifeless bodies, including 3 men, 2 women, and 3 children, in the 22 UF 474 plate car, which was going from Uzunköprü to Tekirdağ.
In a statement regarding the accident, Tekirdağ Governor Office said the bodies were sent to Tekirdag State Hospital for identification and autopsy.
As the result of the identification of the names of the people who lost their lives in the crash, governor office announced their names as Erkan Arslan, 43, Buğra Barış Arslan, 19, Buğlem Arslan, 5, Mustafa Öner, 67, Pınar Aldemir, 24, Seyit Abdullah Aldemir, 5, Emir Umeyr Aldemir, 1, who reside in Uzunköprü district of Edirne.
The provincial governor said the judicial and administrative investigations are underway.
