"In the roadmap approved for Manbij, our teams will make a preliminary meeting within 10 days and then we will go into the implementation phase," said Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu related to the meeting on Manbij held with his US counterpart, Mike Pompeo.
Çavuşoğlu stated that the parties will prepare for the preparatory meeting at the first stage of the roadmap. In the second stage, PKK/YPG will be withdrawn from the region and in the third stage, it will be determined who will rule the region.
"YPG will withdraw from Manbij. They will disarm as they withdraw. They will move to the east of the Euphrates," said Çavuşoğlu and added that third country will not take part in the Turkiye-US deal in the withdrawal from Manbij.
