Coronavirus worldwide: The number of confirmed cases rises to 13,042,340

571,689 people have so far died from coronavirus around the world.

The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 3,413,995, followed by Brazil with 1,866,176 cases, India with 879,487 cases, Russia with 727,162 cases, Peru with 326,326 cases, Chile with 315,041, Spain with 300,988 cases, Mexico with 299,750 cases, the United Kingdom with 289,603 cases, South Africa with 276,242 cases, Iran with 257,303 cases, Italy with 243,061 cases and Pakistan with 251,625 cases.

A total of 7,588,510 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide.
