994 people were injured in the earthquake, of those, 220 are being treated in hospital at the moment, it noted.
So far, there have been 1225 aftershocks, 43 of them were greater than magnitude 4.0, it noted.
It added that search and rescue efforts to recover people trapped under the rubble continued at 8 collapsed or damaged buildings.
