Detained princes' properties confiscated in Saudi Arabia

It was reported that the bank accounts of 11 princes, 4 ministers and a number of senior officials were frozen and all assets were to be registered as state property on charges of "corruption" in Saudi Arabia.

Within the scope of "corruption operations" launched on the previous days in Saudi Arabia, 11 princes, 4 ministers and a large number of senior officials were taken into custody.

After the establishment of the "anti-corruption committee" on Saturday in the Presidency of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Selman, a new decision was taken on the detainees. Within this scope, it is stated that bank accounts of 11 princes, 4 ministers and a number of senior officials are frozen.

In the statement made by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Communication Technologies, it was reported that "suspending the bank accounts of the suspects, as well as all assets of these persons will be recorded as state property".
