Diyarbakir International Airport to reopen on Friday

Runway renovation works have been completed at Diyarbakir Airport, which is used jointly for military and civilian flights.

Airport officials said that the aviation operations will restart at the airport on Friday after a 30-day closure.

The Diyarbakir International Airport was closed to airlines for about a month starting on 24 May 2021 for a major runway repaving project.

All flights have been diverted to other airports during this period.
