Erdoğan, President Rahmon of Tajikistan talk over phone

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan on Thursday.

The call addressed bilateral relations and regional developments, particularly Afghanistan, the Turkish presidency said.

Congratulating the 30th anniversary of brotherly Tajikistan’s independence, Erdoğan stated that Turkey would continue to stand by Tajikistan as one of the first countries to have recognized its independence.
