Explaining the MVT hike from Şimsek: Misunderstood

Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek explained about MTV hike. Şimşek said that MVT raise was misunderstood.

Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek has commented on the Motor Vehicles Tax [MVT] hike in a TV program he participated in.

Şimşek said the MVT hike not cover for all, “wrongly understood, 40 percent MVT raise applies to new cars in 2018,” he said.

According to Şimşek's statements; it is stated that no car on the market at this time will be affected by this hike.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that Motor Vehicles Tax will review in the Council of Ministers.
