Giving recommendation about Ramadan, which is the sultan of eleven-month-old, Assoc. Dr. Ramazan Korkut stated that this month should be evaluated in a good way.
Referring to the importance of benefiting from the spiritual climate of the month of Ramadan, Korkut said that fasting important mystery are patience, thankfulness and taqwa.
Korkut voiced that Ramadan is the month of the Qur'an, expressing the various provisions and mystery of fasting worship.
“Past sins of anyone who fasted this month are forgiven”
Korkut, said that the fasts also teach human patience: “Fasting is patience itself, it strengthens the sense of patience in man and spreads the feeling of patience to the full of the year. It means that the person who fasted this month, worships in its night, his past sins will be forgiven.”
“Fasting is the school of patience and thank goodness”
Korkut stated that the fasting and prohibition of eating and drinking and sexual intercourse from the time of fasting to the sunset of the sun strengthened the patience of the human being, “Obeying Allah's orders and avoiding their prohibitions strengthens their sense of patience, and a person who is already placed in patience and gratitude learns patience against difficult conditions and thankful in the face of every blessing.”
Referring to the need to benefit from Ramadan's spiritual climate, Korkut said, “One person who intend to fast from the night time, not only stay hungry or thirty, along with hunger and thirst, he protect his language from lies, his face from unlawful, his ear from slander, gossip and bad words, his actually intends to fast with his heart, soul, mind and all organs and senses.” (ILKHA)
