The fire in the Arapbeleni area of the Taşağıl Neighborhood was soon spread by the wind.
In addition to a large number of forest workers in Manavgat and Taşağıl Forest Management Directorates, sprinkler, fire trucks, and forest workers from Antalya and surrounding districts are also intervening in the firefighting efforts.
Crews are working hard to ensure the fire does not spill into nearby settlements.
Residents in the area are also supporting quenching efforts. The fire was said to have been effective on 30-35 hectares.
