According to the initial results of the 12th Presidential elections in Iran, the current President Hassan Rouhani is leading the elections with more than 14 million votes.
Iran's Supreme Board of Elections Chairman Ali Ashur Ahmedi said in his statement that Hassan Rouhani is leading the election with 14,619,848 votes, according to the first votes of the 12th Presidential elections.
Ahmedi stated that, 25 million 966 thousand 729 counted yesterday in the actual number of 25 million 182 thousand 310 votes, are valid.
Ahmedi stated that Rouhani got 14 million 619 thousand 848 votes, Ibrahim Reisi 10 million 125 thousand 855, Mustafa Mirselim 297 thousand 276 and Hashimi Taba 139 thousand 331 votes.
Hassan Rouhani, Hüccetulislam Sayyid Ibrahim Reisi Elsadati, Sayyid Mustafa Aga Mirselim, and Sayyid Mustafa Hashemi Taba are competing for the 12th term presidential election.
