Flash flood hits Indonesia: 16 dead, 23 missing

A flash flood left at least 16 people dead and 23 are still missing in Indonesia's South Sulawesi province, National Disaster Mitigation Agency spokesman Raditya Jati said on Wednesday.

More than four thousand families affected by the incident, according to the agency.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing for missing people in the region.
