Foreign Ministry condemns the attack in Somalia

The State Department of Turkiye condemned the attack on Thursday in Mogadishu, Somalia's capital.

"We are saddened by the terrorist attack perpetrated in Mogadishu, which resulted in the loss of many lives and left others wounded," said Turkish Foreign Ministry in a statement released on Friday.

Stating that they strongly condemn the attack, the ministry wished Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, and a speedy recovery to the wounded. "We convey our condolences to the friendly and brotherly Government and people of Somalia."

Two bomb-laden vehicle attacks carried out in Somalia's capital Mogadishu on Thursday, 10 people were killed according to the first determinations, while 28 others injured.
