Foreign Ministry issued a statement over UN Khashoggi report

"We invite all UN Member States and relevant international organizations to insist on implementing these recommendations," Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement regarding UN report on Khashoggi murder.

The State Department has made a statement on the report prepared by the Special Rapporteur Agnes Callamard of UN non-trial and arbitrary executions on the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

A report released on Wednesday by the UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, Ms. Agnes Callamard, into the killing of journalist Mr. Jamal Khashoggi, which the State Department said it "confirms the findings of the investigation that has been meticulously carried out by our relevant authorities".

"In this context, the mentioned report reveals that the murder of Mr. Khashoggi was premeditated, violating the basic principles of international law and international relations, in particular, international human rights law, the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations and UN principles," the statement read.

The State Department said that they strongly support UN Special Rapporteur Ms. Callamard’s recommendations that are aimed at fully elucidating the killing of Mr. Khashoggi and holding all those responsible accountable.
