Germany to deliver weapons to Saudis

Germany had halted arms exports to Saudis after the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in a brutal way, has now decided to deliver weapons.

The German government approved the first delivery after two weeks of easing the decision to stop arms shipment to the Saudis.

The secret session of the Federal Security Council, chaired by Chancellor Angela Merkel and several ministers, decided delivery of arms to six countries.

Two of these countries are Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, part of coalition killing civilians in Yemen.
