Head of Presidency Communication Directorate slams France over genocide allegations

Head of Turkiye's Presidential Communications Directorate Fahrettin Altun reveals the massacres committed by France in its history against the allegations of Macron accused Turkiye of the so-called Armenian genocide.

Fahrettin Altun, Head of Turkiye's Presidential Communications Directorate, reacted to French President Emmanuel Macron, who accused Turkiye of the alleged Armenian genocide.

Altun, in this official social media account, revealed the full history of massacres committed by France in various parts of the world, which supported by visual posts.

Saying that Macron, who claims to face history, should first face the crimes that his country, France, committed against humanity in Benin, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Guinea, Cameroon, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Tunisia and Chad, Altun underlined that there is no genocide in Turkiye's history.

Macron, who distorted historical facts, has declared April 24 as "Armenian Genocide Day" which slammed by Turkish officials.

"The so-called Armenian genocide allegations are a political lie that is against the historical facts and have no legal grounds," Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalın said before and noted that they are null and void for Turkiye.
