Heavy damage detected in 77 buildings in Istanbul after the quake

Heavy damage was detected in 77 buildings in damage detection works across the province, Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning reported.

Following the 5.8 magnitude earthquake off Silivri, the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning carried out damage assessment studies on public structures, housing, and workplaces throughout the province.

Heavy damage was reported in 77 buildings, 9 of which were public buildings, 68 of which were residential and business premises.
