Hope Caravan distributes food packages to hundreds of families in eastern Turkey

The Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı) is continuing its charitable activities during Ramadan, Islam's holy month of fasting.

The foundation, which has taken on the task of being a bridge between rich and poor, acts with the mission of delivering humanitarian aid to those who are persecuted or otherwise in need, regardless of their religion, language, race, or sect.

The foundation provided food packages to hundreds of families in the Kovancılar, Palu, Maden, and Arıcak districts of Turkey’s eastern Elazığ province.

Speaking to Ilke News Agency about their activities, Nihat Bakşi, the Deputy Chairman of the Hope Caravan’s Elazığ Branch, noted that the benefactors have been doing their best to help the people in need during the holy month of Ramadan.

“As Elazığ Hope Caravan, we are continuing to distribute food aid to the poor families during the last days of Ramadan. I would like to thank the benefactors for their precious contribution to our charitable activities. They have been doing their best to help the people in need during the holy month of Ramadan,” Bakşi said.

“So far, as Hope Caravan Foundation, we have delivered food aid to 450 families in Elazığ,” he added.
