Erden family, who was giving life struggle in Batman’s Balpınar (Gresira) in a rundown house in the Yeniköy neighborhood, has demanded help from authorities and philanthropists in the last March 2017. The family’s house which did not receive the expected help was collapsed on Thursday’s morning.
Abdurrahman Erden, whose house was destroyed, said to the authorities that he could not do anything because he had heart disease and epilepsy.
Erden who tried to make his voice to be heard a few months ago through ILKHA, said: “My house was about to collapse. I also gave my petition to the municipality and the governor. They came and looked, but they just looked. Since then no one has come to ask. On this day our house was collapsed. Thanks to Allah nothing happen to us. As for the sound of breaking the columns, we escaped out. The ceiling complex was destroyed after we went outside. We are waiting for support from the authorities. I am desperate to work because I have many sicknesses.”
