HUDA PAR calls for "Fair Solution to the Kurdish Issue"

HUDA PAR President Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu publicized the road map of his party for the Kurdish issue with a press conference.

The Kurdish issue should be resolved in a fair framework said HUDA PAR President Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu by presenting the roadmap of his party for the settlement of the Kurdish issue at the press conference.

Stating that the Kurdish issue is still one of the most important issues waiting for the solution, despite not been on the agenda of politics and media for a long time, Yapıcıoğlu said, "At this moment, many other issues on the agenda of the country are directly or indirectly related to this issue. The solution of this problem will also contribute to the solution of our other problems."

"Method and approach need to be corrected"

Emphasizing that the Kurds have been living on these lands thousands of years before the arrival of the Turks in Anatolia Yapıcıoğlu, said:

"The historical union of the Kurds with their Muslim Turkish brothers changed the course of history. The conquest doors of Anatolia were opened with the union in Malazgirt in 1071. Kurds are not tenants or refugees; they are the owners of this country and the founding peoples of the state. The Kurds, who live fraternally with other Muslim tribes for centuries, have perceived as a problem after the discovery of the idea of the nation-state, and their identities and assets have denied. Since then, their assets have been accepted and seeking solutions took place in some cases, but since the problem has not been correctly named, the correct prescriptions have not been applied. Because the correct procedures have not been used, the problem that has not been solved has deepened and gained an international character and thus the solution becomes increasingly complex and difficult. As a result of unsuccessful attempts, although the method and the approach need to be corrected, the existence of the problem has begun to be denied or alleged that everything that has to be done has been done and that the problem has been solved. The issue is not over, it continues. The problem is ours, it is the issue of all of us, and absolutely must be resolved."

The solution of the Kurdish issue is a burden that our belief puts on our back

Stating that the Kurdish issue has perceived by the estate as a matter of violence, terror, and partly economic backwardness, and that it is the wrongful perception that the issue causes trouble to the state by provoking of foreign forces, Yapıcıoğlu said, "In truth, the brotherhood has not been established, which remain unfulfilled due to not having justice. It is the deviation from justice cause the corruption of the union by ignoring common ground. It is not possible to solve the problem by those who name the issue with the wrong diagnosis. The Kurdish tribe is an essential element of the Islamic Ummah. The geography where it lives is also the center of the Ummah geography. If the problem is not solved, it will affect the whole region negatively. The solution in a fair way will comfort both the region and the entire Islamic geography."

Stating that Muslims should not instrumentalize the problem, which also is not possible, Yapıcıoğlu said that seeking a solution for the Kurdish issue is a burden that Muslims' beliefs put on their back.

Yapıcıoğlu ended his words as follows:

"The countries where Kurds living in, Turkiye, Iran, Iraq, and Syria should not account to use the problem against each other, they must help each other to solve the issue.

Yapıcıoğlu noted the time is the right time for the solution and legal regulations must be done, not because the EU wants or because someone will lay down arms but for the Kurdish nation gain their rights, for the injustice and restlessness are over, for the brotherhood to be established again and the justice be done.

"The result of the issue remains unresolved causes an unpeaceful geography that becomes open to imperialist interventions, causes the waste of generations and resources and the economic depression," he said.

"Steps must be taken unconditionally on basic rights, in order to leave of the nation-state paradigm for the solution, and the constitutional recognition of the Kurds as the fundamental constituent people. Economic, political, social, cultural privileges and discrimination should be abolished."

"The press on the language must come to an end. Everyone should be given the right to education in their mother tongue and the way for the Kurdish language to become official should be opened."
