Hungarian Prime Minister to visit Turkey

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary will co-chair the 5th meeting of the Turkey-Hungary High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Ankara on Thursday.

“All aspects of the bilateral relations between Turkey and Hungary will be reviewed and views on regional and international developments will be exchanged at the Council meeting to be held with the participation of relevant ministers,” Turkish presidency said in a statement.

“The meeting will serve as a reaffirmation of the common will for the deepening of our cooperation with Hungary, our strategic partner and ally, on multilateral platforms, NATO, the European Union and the Turkic Council in particular, as well as of our bilateral relations.”

Also, various agreements and protocols aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the two countries will be signed on the occasion of the meeting, according to the statement.
