IHH delivers aid to 350 thousand Arakanese

IHH, which until the crisis began in Arakan since August 24 has delivered relief supplies 350 thousand Arakanese.

The pressure and genocide that Myanmar government and Buddhist gangs applying Arakanese Muslims are continues. Having escaped from the massacre and succeeding in crossing the rivers and mountains, the Arakanese are taking refuge in Bangladesh and trying to keep alive. Migrations have been partially reduced since the beginning of the crisis, but are still continuing. Over one million Arakanese have migrated to Bangladesh over the years, as a result of the ongoing pressures and attacks.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continues to distribute aid donated by philanthropists to people in Myanmar Arakan as well as those 650 thousand migrants in Bangladesh. In this context, the IHH has been carrying out relief supplies to hundreds of thousands of refugee, both of which are trying to stay alive in Arakan and migrate from Arakan to Bangladesh. A total of 350,000 Arakanese benefited from this assistance.

Aids are reaching to the inside of Arakan and the camps in Bangladesh

Stating that they have delivered every kind of aid to Arakanese since the start of the August 24 crisis, IHH South Asia Desk Coordinator Münevver Hüseyin said that their aid wave will continue and they will not leave Arakanese alone until the crisis over. Hüseyin said that migration has partially reduced, "We have reached aid supplies to Sittwe IDP camp and Maundaw Buithidaung in Myanmar's Arakan state also in refugee camps in Bangladesh's Cox's Bazaar."
