Kemalism and PKK owe each other thanks

Mehmed Göktaş, a columnist for the daily Doğruhaber Newspaper, touched on the Kemalism and its relationship with the PKK.

Titled "Kemalism and the PKK owe each other thanks" the article referring to the relationship between Kemalism and the PKK.

A columnist in Doğruhaber Newspaper Mehmed Göktaş stressed that the PKK owes its existence to Kemalism.

"Let's start with which one should thank the other one first? It doesn't matter, though, they both end up in the same place," Göktaş said and continued:

"I have mentioned many times that the biggest and only product of the Kemalism imposition in this country is the PKK. In other words, the PKK owes its existence to Kemalism.

Although many have expressed this fact, let us not forget that the PKK was especially come into existence by the 12 September 1980 Kenan Evren military coup, but that its seed was laid with Kemalism.

The PKK owes its existence entirely to the practices of despot Kemalism and owes a great thanks to it.

Let's come to Kemalism's owes of thanks to the PKK;

"You have succeeded in five-ten years that I have not been able to do on the Kurds despite my efforts of nearly eighty years.

As Kemalism, I removed the veil of a large part of the women in the west of the country, but I could not strip the Kurd woman from her honor and from the veil.

How did you reset the sense of honor in such a short time, how did you remove the veil and hijab in a snap and throw it away? I really want to thank you.

They resisted at the expense of their lives and made no concessions to Islam.

It never comes to my imagination; I would never dare place LGBT and similar heresies among the Kurds. I thank you very much, PKK!

Although we cannot agree on some issues, for now, we have agreed on the most important issues, either in the way of life, or we have both allied in the Western way of life, that's what matters. I want to thank you.

Then, most importantly, we both have the same enemies, Islam and Muslims, who stand up to the way of life we impose.

That is actually, what we have in common. Then we must leave the little problems we have left to one side.

Does the West not support both of us for this because of our war against Islam? In short, we owe each other many thanks."

Göktaş continued as: "Those who stop and ask 'Where did you get into this issue? - should know that this is the most important issue in the country.

Turkey's politicians, who are expected to draw a new route these days, will waste time if they do not start from this issue."
