Seven people were killed and 10 other people were injured on Thursday when a hand-made explosive trapped under the road detonated by the PKK members in the rural area of Kulp, Diyarbakir.
HDP District Chairman A.K, director of municipality technical works Ş.A. and HDP member mayor of Kulp M.F.T were taken into custody as part of the investigation into the explosion.
At least 4 people, all are HDP members, were detained as part of the investigation following the explosion, reports said.
Operation is underway to apprehend another suspect, police said.
