Nearly 4,800 cannabis sativa roots seized in eastern Turkey

Nearly 4,800 cannabis sativa roots have been seized in the Yeşilyurt district of Turkey’s eastern Malatya province, the governor’s office announced in a statement on Monday.

2 suspects were detained during the operation, which was carried out by the provincial gendarmerie command.

An investigation is underway, the statement said.
