New automotive investment in Ankara

MAN, a Volkswagen Group company that is expected to make new investments in Manisa, Turkey, has decided to expand its investments in Turkey.

Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology declared MAN's facilities in Çubuk, a district of Ankara, as an individual investment location.

"An amount of 452 million Turkish Lira of new investment to be made here, hopefully, 700 people will be employed," said Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology.

In his speech at the reception held at the German Embassy in Ankara on "German Unity Day", Varank stated that they had set up the German desk for German industrialists and investors operating in Turkey in order to solve the problems they might face and to implement their proposals.

"Our ministry will continue to stand with you to solve the problems experienced by researchers, entrepreneurs, and industrialists, to facilitate the investment processes and to ensure the follow-up of the necessary procedures," he added.
