No reports of casualties or damages from Turkey’s quake, Interior Minister says

Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said there were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage from the 5.3 magnitude earthquake that hit Elazığ on Sunday.

"There is nothing negative so far. All our teams continue their examinations on the ground. We will continue to updating," Soylu tweeted.    

The earthquake occurred at around 09:37 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.5218 degrees north and a longitude of 39.1813 degrees east, and at a depth of 15.94 km.

The earthquake was felt in the nearby provinces, including Diyarbakır, Malatya, Adıyaman, Tunceli and Bingöl, the local sources said.
