Operation against FETO within Turkish Air Force

Turkish prosecution office has ordered the detention of 34 Air Force officers as part of FETO investigation in Ankara.

As part of the FETO investigation conducted by Ankara Public Prosecutor's office, a detention order was issued for 34 organization members serving in the Air Force Command.

As part of the investigation into the organization members' communications over payphones, Ankara Public Prosecutor's office has issued a detention order on 34 suspects Air Force Command personnel, according to the report.

At least 21 suspects have been detained so far in operations in 17 provinces by the Ankara Police Department's anti-organized crime branch.

Work is underway to apprehend 13 of them, prosecutor's office said.
