Palestinian and foreign activists hold virtual rally on Gaza siege

Palestinian and foreign activists on Sunday participated in a Zoom virtual rally to talk about the inhumane Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe).

The online rally was organized and supervised by John Minto, a New Zealand-based political activist.

Some participants placed Palestine flags near them and wore Palestinian keffiyehs (scarfs) and shirts carrying the national flag during the virtual event.

The participants talked about the nature of the humanitarian and health situation in Gaza during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

They also recalled the 1948 Palestinian Nakba and the tragedies that befell the Palestinian people at the time.
