Police seize a ton of explosives in operation against DAESH

Turkiye's Interior Ministry says a ton of explosives have been seized in an operation against DAESH in Al-Bab, Syria.

Turkish security forces and intelligent members carried out an operation against DAESH in al-Bab, Syria, said interior ministry.

"A total of 80 handmade bombs and about a ton of explosives, including gelatin dynamite and fabricated explosives, were seized, the statement said.

Following the statement, the interior ministry added that 833 electrical detonators used in the making of explosives, 300 batteries, and 480 handmade explosive devices and suicide bomb vests were seized.
