President Erdoğan is in Kuwait

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait at Bayan Palace.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is paying an official visit to Kuwait, met with Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait at Bayan Palace.

President Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony by Amir Al-Sabah prior to the meeting. Also present at the ceremony were Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar, Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak, Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, Minister of Culture and Tourism Numan Kurtulmuş, Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroğlu, Minister of Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan, Undersecretary of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Hakan Fidan and Deputy Secretary General and Spokesperson of the Presidency Ambassador İbrahim Kalın.

After the ceremony, during which the national anthems of Turkiye and Kuwait were played and the leaders introduced their delegations, President Erdoğan and Amir Al-Sabah proceeded to their meeting.

The meeting between the leaders and the delegations was followed by the signing ceremony of various agreements in the presence of President Erdoğan and Amir Al-Sabah.

After the signing of the documents, Amir Al-Sabah hosted a luncheon at Bayan Palace in honor of President Erdoğan.
