President Erdoğan meets Merkel

President Erdoğan, who came to Germany for the G20 summit, met with Merkel.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Germany he came to attend the G20 summit.

President Erdoğan, who came to Hamburg for the G20 Summit, held a talk with Merkel. After the greeting at the door, the two leaders then posed for members of the press, and then went on a closed-door conversation.

The meeting which held in Kempinski Atlantic Hotel, started at 21.36 Turkiye’s local time and lasted about an hour.

In the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimsek, European Union Minister and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik and Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalın were present.
