Putin and top US commanders to visit Ankara

Russian President Vladimir Putin and two top US commanders will visit Ankara on Monday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will come to Ankara on Monday to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

Putin and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are expected to hold talks in Ankara on the topic of Jerusalem, the latest stage in Syria, and the latest developments in the region.

Request to retake the weapons given to the PYD

It is stated that Joseph Votel, commander of the United States Central Forces, and USFK Commander Curtis Scaporotti will meet Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar.

According to the information, the issue of disarmament of PYD / YPG which is among the issues to be discussed during the negotiation is of importance for Turkiye. Turkey also wants all weapons given to the PYD by the US to be taken back and that the PYD be withdrawn entirely from Turkiye-Syria borderline.
