Putin re-elected as president

In Russia, Vladimir Putin was elected president again, receiving 76.67 percent of the votes.

In the elections held in Russia, the current President Vladimir Putin won elections by taking 76.67 percent of the votes.

Putin, who received more than 56 million votes, will hold the presidency for the fourth time with the finalization of the results.

Putin received 52.94 percent of the votes in 2004 and 63.6 percent in the 2012 elections. Putin also received 70.88 percent of the voters in Moscow and became the most voted candidate in the capital.
