PYD applies “conscription” to 60-year-olds

PKK/PYD applied “compulsory military service” to people aged 60 years in Syria Kurdistan.

Syrian Kurdistan in the Afrin region, people aged 60-years-old mobilized by PKK/PYD under the “compulsory military service” application were reported.

It was stated that those who were forcibly taken under arms were members of Democratic Party of Kurdistan - Syria (KDP-S), they were trained in YPG camps affiliated to PKK/PYD.

It has been reported that the 60-years-olds Kurds in the village of Dara Gire in the Mabata region have been forcibly taken to military camps in the villages of Afrin. (ILKHA)
