Qatar pledges $15 billion investment to Turkiye

Qatar has pledged $15 billion of direct investment in Turkiye said Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalın.

"Qatar has pledged $15 billion of direct investments in Turkey. Turkish-Qatari relations are based on solid foundations of true friendship and solidarity," announced on Twitter, Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalın.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Wednesday at the Presidential Complex.

Announcing Wednesday on Twitter, Qatari Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister said, "Today's talks reaffirmed the joint desire and will to expand strategic partnership and investment cooperation in various fields. Qatar announced a package of investment worth nearly $15 billion in Turkey."
